The Department of Business Administration of the EMaTTech announces the 2nd Cycle of the Distance Learning Educational Programme in the field of "Social Entrepreneurship", which will be free of charge and will be hosted on the asynchronous education platform OPEN eCLASS of the EMaTTech.
The educational programme has been developed under the project "Support of Social Enterprise Development and Enhancement of Employment / SoSEDEE", which is financed 85% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and 15% by the national funds of Greece and Bulgaria through of the Cross-border Cooperation Program Interreg VA Greece Bulgaria 2014-2020.
The syllabus of the course is designed to help participants (potential or current entrepreneurs) move their mission forward by learning how to apply knowledge and skills in social entrepreneurship. Successful completion is accompanied by a "Social Entrepreneurship" training certificate.
The core of the programme will consist of e-learning lectures as well as experiential learning opportunities though the lenses of real-case business challenges. It includes 4 weeks of training for participants from Bulgaria (from 17/06/2019 to 14/07/2019) and 5 weeks of training for participants from Greece (from 17/06/2019 to 21/07/2019). Participants from Greece will also attend experiential learning seminars on the 5th week.
The program will educate 15 Greeks and 45 Bulgarians, who belong to at least to one of the following target groups: a) long-term unemployed and professional and financially challenged groups from the Municipality of Gotse Delchev and the SOS Children's Villages, b) vulnerable social groups or high-risk groups, (c) current social entrepreneurs or consultants on social entrepreneurship and d) potential social entrepreneurs.
The main selection criterion is that the participants come from the cross-border area of Interreg V-A Greece Bulgaria 2014 - 2020. Participants will come from all the above target groups and priority will be given to those that will submit first their registration form.
